Information for Presenters

There are two types of presentation: oral and poster presentations

Oral Presentations of Papers

  • Each paper has a 20-minute slot for presentation, including Q&As and changeover to the next speaker. We encourage authors to prepare a lively 15-minute slideshow presentation, including examples when possible, and to leave 5 minutes for questions from the audience. A session chair will conduct the session and no time extension will be granted.

  • The room will be equipped with a video projector. Presenters are encouraged to use their personal computers for presentations. (Nevertheless, presenters should have a back-up pdf of their presentation). A computer may be available for presenters, only if requested sufficiently in advance. No overhead projector will be available.

  • Presenters are asked to be present in the room, introduce themselves to their session chair and make sure that the presentation devices work properly at least 10 minutes before the start of their session.

Poster Presentations of Papers

  • On Thrusday and Friday, different selections of posters will be placed in specific spaces in the venue. Authors can leave them in their spots for the whole day if they want to or just during the poster session. On the specific day of display of their poster, presenters are required to be near their poster during the poster sessions.

  • The dimensions of the poster should be 70cm x 100 cm and each poster presenter will be assigned a specific stand. You can download HERE a suggestion for FMA 2017 Poster template.

  • There will be a small presentation of the posters. Presenters must prepare one or two slides for that.

  • If you need to print your poster in Malaga, you can do it at Copicentro (c/Panaderos 22).
