Call for Tutorial

In this edition, the last day of FMA 2017 (June 16) will include one tutorial of two hours and concentrating on a single topic. The tutorial can be presented either at an introductory level or in depth and is intended to provide an informative and stimulating coverage of current topics in Folklore Music Analysis and beyond.

Tutorial proposals should consist of a 1 to 4 pages abstract including the following:

• Title

• Outline of the tutorial content

• Intended and expected audience

• Short biography of the presenter(s)

• Any special requirements

• Contact information

How to submit

The proposals should be submitted as a PDF attachment via email to

folkmusicanalysis2017@gmail.com by February 15, 2017.

Acceptance/rejection decisions will be made by the FMA 2017 Tutorial Chair and Scientific Chairs and will be notified by March 1, 2017.
